| Preperation & Cooking Time: |
Ingredients: 2 organic sirloin steaks (about 2.5cm thick) |
Slice the steaks thinly, against the grain. Combine the spring onions, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, rice wine, 60ml soy sauce, 1 tbs chilli sauce, pepper and sugar, stirring well to dissolve sugar. Add the beef coating it well, and refrigerate for 1 hour, or longer if desired.
Gently remove lettuce leaves, wash and drain, then refrigerate till ready to serve.
Combine the remaining soy and chilli sauce in a small bowl and set aside.
Heat a heavy-based frying pan on a high heat until hot. Add the beef and sear 1-2 minutes, leaving it pink in the middle. Scatter the sesame seeds and serve on a warm plate with hot rice and the chilled lettuce cups. Spoon a little rice onto a lettuce leaf, add some beef and chilli sauce, roll up and eat. |

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our company, The Meat-ting Place, to you and tell you something about us, our products and our services.
Steve and Jenelle Povey commenced retailing Organic Meat 14 years ago because we believe in the Organic philosophy of providing safe, healthy, natural and nutritious meats, just as nature intended. At that time, we were sourcing Organic farmers who were struggling to get into the Brisbane market.
Fantastic to at last find a butcher who sells organic produce! We will definitely be back!

"Have to say guys... I am so grateful for the products you provide us herein Brisbane.... Organic is becoming more and more important with the GMO issues and the way animals and produce is cultivated... It scares me more that people are not informed about this more. I am always trying to source new options, and after living in the USA fr the last ten years where you can get everything organic very easily, it is hard in Australia... So THANK YOU for existing and helping me on my quest for great health!!!!" |
